DETAILS OF BUSINESS

RCL Foods Limited was originally incorporated on 02.11.1992 in the State of Orissa in the name and style of ‘Passari cellulose Private Limited’ and its name was changed to ‘Passari cellulose Limited’ on 20.12.1994 which was subsequently changed to “RCL Foods Limited” on 04.08.2010. The Registered Office of the Company was shifted from at 20, Balgopalpur Industrial Estate, P.O.: Rasalpur, Balasore, Orissa – 756 020, in the State of Orissa to No.84/85, Walltax Road, First Floor, Chennai 600003 in the State of Tamil Nadu with effect from 02.06.2010

The Main objects of the company are that of carrying on manufacturing of Agro Based Food Products, and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). The current line of business of the Company are production of FMCG products, Bakery Products like Khari, Cookies, Dry Chappati (Khakra), Namkeen, Variety of Mouth Fresheners, Dry Amla, Suparies, Mango candy, ready to eat foods, and other consumable products.

The equity shares of the Company are listed with Bombay Stock Exchange Limited and Madras Stock Exchange.

The company came out with the Public Issue in the year 1995 to part finance expansion cost of the project for producing nitro cellulose to meet the working capital requirement, to enlist the shares of the company on Stock Exchange and to meet the issue expenses. Mr. Satish Jain and Mr. Nitesh Lodha, present Directors of the Company came out with an open offer during 2008 with the prime object of having substantial acquisition of shares/ voting rights accompanies with the change of control and management of the Company.

Since then the company carries business of production of FMCG products, Bakery Products like Khari, Cookies, Dry Chappati (Khakra), Namkeen, Variety of Mouth Fresheners, Dry Amla, Suparies, Mango candy, etc., to catch the domestic market.

We are presently carrying on business of manufacturing and trading of Agro based food products, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Bakery Products, Ready to eat foods, Packaged Foods and Mouth Freshners etc.
